Joining your tour coach

We offer convenient local pick-ups across North Somerset and the surrounding areas so joining your tour coach couldn't be easier. Simply view the list below to find your nearest joining point.

Compass Collect - Home Collection Service

We are able to provide home pick-ups on all holidays over 3 days in duration for a small extra surcharge.  Simply call us on 0800 285 1435 to receive a no obligation quote. 

Making a booking

Bookings can be made via our website, by telephone or at one of our pop up travel shops. For day trip bookings: Full payment will be required to secure the booking. For holidays: A minimum deposit of £80pp is required to reserve your place. Bookings will be confirmed in writing within 7 days of receiving your booking request.

Should you wish to alter your confirmed booking or change to another trip then we will do our best to assist with these changes however this will be subject to our full booking terms which can be found on the 'Information' page. Bookings amendments or cancellations must be made by the lead passenger on the booking and should be submitted in writing.

 

If you wish to change your pick-up point or have any other special requests these cannot be guaranteed within 14 days of departure. For any further assistance, please contact us.

Selecting a holiday

We try our best to provide holidays that everyone can enjoy however, due to the nature of some tours, we regret that not all of our our advertised trips are suitable for people with limited mobility or disabilities. Some tours involve a great deal of travelling, changes of hotel, boarding of extra transport and visits to heritage properties that may have uneven surfaces. Also some excursions may require a fair amount of walking.

We do kindly ask that you take these points into consideration when choosing your holiday and if you have any concerns; please don't hesitate to contact us. Our travel advisors will be happy to answer any questions you may have and wherever possible we will always do our best to accommodate any requests. 

For continental holidays it is essential to have a valid passport and we also recommend a European Health Insurance card when travelling to countries in the EEAE. Many countries also require that you have at least 6 months validity remaining on your passport.

Covid-19 European entry requirements: If at any point,  Covid vaccinations become an entry requirement for visiting foreign countries within our holiday programme, please note that this will be a requirement of carriage under our terms and conditions.

Travel Insurance

For all Continental holidays you MUST have travel insurance in place. Travel insurance is not a requirement for UK holidays however, we highly advise taking out insurance to cover medical, repatriation costs, personal injury, loss of baggage and cancellation charges.

If you have chosen not to take out insurance for UK holidays we will ask you to sign and return a waiver document prior to travel.

You are free to choose your own insurance provider & it is your responsibility to obtain cover prior to your departure date. Please notify us of the name of your insurance company and policy number by the time your final holiday balance is due.

Why do you only have a limited programme of holidays?

Here at Compass we are a small family business with an ethos on offering a first-class level of service - By only operating a limited number of holidays each year it enables us to ensure that our tours are planned with great attention to detail and our time is dedicated to you, our loyal customers.

 

How many people can go on a tour?

All of our holidays are limited to 30 places per tour,  smaller groups again mean that our tour managers are always on hand to make sure you're looked after on a Compass Holiday.

However, If you are a private group wanting us to organise a bespoke day out or holiday itinerary we can happily arrange transport for any size group.

Do you offer group discounts?

Yes! We can offer group discounts on our day trips and holidays for block bookings of 8+ people. Simply email us with details of the tour you wish to book along with group numbers and one of our team will be happy to provide you with any information.
